At the OMA Indoor Championship, his time of 1:25.39 and age-grading (107.05%, aged-graded for age 88, rather than by five year age category, the latter of which was done for the official results from that meet) is the highest age-grade for ALL Masters Indoor 400m performances in the World in 2018 (every male and female over the age of 30) and is also the highest age-grade in the World in 2018 for all Male Running Indoor performances from 60m to 3000m.
The M50 Ontario team went after the 8:32.95 World Record in the 4X800m Relay at the Indoors
Simon Rayner – Jim Dyck – Paul Osland – Mike Sherar
They finished in 8:34.76 …..less than 2 seconds off the WR
They did break the 8:37.23 CAN Record from 2015
