Fine Performances At Mini Meet #2

 

M30 David Valenzuela broke the Meet Record with a 1.80 High Jump. Don Ritchie held the record at 1.74 set last year.

New OMA Director W45 Annie Bunting just missed her 1:48.91 600m Meet Record (2008) by 7/100ths.

New OMA Vice President W55 Karla Del Grande ran 28.50 in the 200m, just missing her 28.15 CAN record.

New CMAA President M45 Paul Osland ran a fine 4:43.57 Mile

Paul just missed the 4:41 Meet Record shared by three athletes. Fred Robbins (L) ran it in 1998, and George Aitkin (R) ran it twenty years ago in 1990 - back when we had the Mini Meets at Variety Village (flat track). Gord Christie also ran it in 2003.

M35 Mark Smyth ran the fastest 60m in 7.65. Running in the fastest Final were (L-R) Curtis Symons, Eddy Renelique, John Varone, Mark, Ken Kudo, and Chris Lemassif

M40 Scott Stevens won the 3000m in 9:16.17

M45 Don Ritchie had the best mark in the Long Jump with a 5.08m

M80 Evalds Viskers put the Shot 8.18m.  Evalds holds the CAN record of 9.70m

M35 Gintas Degutis really got one out there in 14.91m
