World Record Broken at Mini Meet #3

M80 Earl Fee ran a blistering 400m split in the 800m

....finishing in 2:54.24 .... a New World Record. He smashed the old record of 3:07 held by Joseph King USA 2008, and broke the CAN record by 46 seconds!

Earl also ran the 400m in 1:13.56....close to his World Record of 1:11.2 set at last year's meet (although that mark still isn't listed on the WMA site)

Ontario Masters Vice President Karla Del Grande TIED her own 28.15 W55 CAN record in the 200m.

W40 Michelle Baptie Sanchez set the CAN record with a 5.75m mark in the Weight Throw.

W75 Jean Horne set the CAN record in the 3000m Racewalk in 22:51.95  Jean is in the Ontario Masters Hall of Fame.

Medalists at the Ontario Masters Indoor Pentathlon Championships - Gold M40 Jordan Rosenberg, Gold M55 Ralph Cilevitz, Gold M45 Don Ritchie, Silver M55 Bill Barras, Gold M50 Kevin Sanjari

W30 Jennifer Pineo cleared 1.39 in the High Jump, breaking Roshani Gunasekera's 1.25 Meet Record, set in 2004.

M30 David Valenzuela TIED his own Meet Record with a 1.80 in the High Jump. Here, he ran a fine 25.72 in the 200m.

M65 Tony Powell's 26.84 in the 200m just missed his 26.81 CAN record set at last year's meet.

W35 Becky Patten ran a fine 10:22 3000m...just missing her 10:20 Meet Record set at last year's meet.
