Lily Whalen
– Completing her 20th year as a member of the OMA Board of Directors
– OMA’s Volunteer and Officials Coordinator for the last several years
– For many years, has been on the executive of Ontario Racewalkers, one of Canada’s largest racewalking clubs
– Was one of the first Female Racewalkers and has been racewalking for over 40 years, and has won a number of Senior titles
– Represented Canada in racewalking at many World Masters Championships
John Kasperski
– “Big John” has been a dominant masters thrower for over 25 years, setting numerous Canadian Records
– Currently holds the Canadian Record in M55 (3,752 pts.) and M60 (3,872 pts.) Throws Pentathlon
– Even after having double hip replacement surgery several years ago, he has continued to throw
– At the World Indoor Championships in Torun in 2019, he won the silver medal in M75 Shot Put (11.61m)
